Learn to Chant Torah; Mondays at 8:00 PM From its inception 60 years ago, CBS-CS has prided itself on the participation of many community members in the ritual life of our congregation. Among the more profound ritual roles a person can play is to take part in the weekly chanting of the Torah. This class, led by Jonathan Levine, will help you step up to the reading table, and take your place in the perpetuation of this millennia-old custom. Only prerequisite: the ability to read or sound-out words, even slowly, in Hebrew.
